Hotel Gran Prè is situated only 600 m from the skilifts of the Kronplatz ski area and is connected with a free skibus service. The Kronplatz ski area offers 95 km of perfectly prepared ski runs and 24 modern skilifts. Kronplatz is a skiing paradise for everyone: gentle slopes for the beginner as well as thrilling runs for the expert. Have a break at one of the huts and enjoy the delicious meals and the warm hospitality which characterizes the alpine tradition. Close to the village you will find a 23 km long cross-country track through an enchanted forest. Discover the silence of a splendid winter landscape, during a peaceful walk through the woods or during a romantic horse sledge tour. Furthermore, you can practice ice skating in the little ice stadium of S. Vigilio.
San Vigilio is a small, picturesque village, situated in a green valley, surrounded by the majestic Dolomites. The village lies right in the heart of the splendid Natural Park Fanes-Sennes-Braies. You will be impressed by the beauty of an untouched nature and its towering peaks!On the road which takes to Perderü you will find the new visitor center of the Natural Park, which informs you on the history, the fauna and the flora.The large forests and the beautiful meadows which stretch from San Vigilio to Perderü, are a great place for mountain biking and hiking. Pederü is the starting point for excursions to the Natural Park Fanes-Sennes-Braies.On your arrival you will receive the “KronCard” which gives you discounts on various entrance fees and on summer lift tickets.Professional alpine guides can take you safely to the most beautiful peaks of the Dolomites. On their program you can find vie ferrate, climbing tours as well as excursions.Our younger guests will be amazed by the new playground, created especially for them. Step back and discover the history and traditions of the Ladin population which lived here already 2000 yeas ago.
