Simply wonderful

I come to ABC since 2008, sometimes twice a year. I think this says enough.
Food is delicious, the wine selection splendid. Staff is professional and speaks Italian, German, and English!
Nicol, Sandra & Elena simply love their guests. Coming to ABC always gives us a feeling of coming home!

The two weeks of vacation spent at Aqua Bad Cortina were among the most relaxing and enjoyable thanks to both the owners and the extremely friendly staff. I was able to notice the attention to detail both in terms of the concept of the entire hotel, from the interior design, to the tourist policy and to the menu design. Consistency from one end to the other. The fact that the whole Alberti family is present in the hotel every day creates a feeling of familiarity and at some point you feel that you are becoming part of the family, not just a temporary guest. I'm glad I spent the end and the beginning of the year here and I can't wait to come back. ABC is both a local culinary experience of the highest quality and a cultural one. close

We have been here already three times. We met people who have been coming for nine years. There is a reason! Great hosts and comfortable, clean rooms. We did the half board, which is breakfast and dinner included. Only way to go. The meals are delicious. Definitely a great place in a perfect location. Highly recommended.

We just returned from a 7-day vacation at Aqua Bad Cortina. We really enjoyed our stay at this nice family hotel. The hotel offers a quick transfer service and a private room to store the equipment right next to the slopes. The restaurant serves a good breakfast with fresh products from local producers and a delicious dinner. The staff and owners pay attention to every detail. We have felt really good and we will definitely be back next year.

Just wonderful

This is our second time at the Aqua Bad Cortina. First time was in December and now in July. All I can say is this is the kind of place you want to come back to. The hosts make you feel so welcome and at home. The hotel has delicious dinners and breakfasts as well and the beds are very comfortable. If you want to explore the Dolomites this is a great base. We will definitely come back again.

Our family (of 13) have just returned from 5 nights at the Acqua Bad Cortina. All of us, three generations aged 2 - 60, enjoyed our stay at this pretty family-run hotel. It is positioned just a few meters from the village center and a pleasant walk or quick hotel-provided shuttle to the private ski-room just off the pistes. The restaurant serves a good breakfast and amazing dinners followed some nights by entertainment. The bar is well stocked. It is obvious that the staff are proud of their work as the service is immaculate. The rooms are peaceful, comfortable, cosy and clean with well sized terraces facing the breath-taking views.

We have spent wonderful days in ABC :)
Everything was perfect starting from the great hospitality of the owners and staff. The room was clean and cosy, the view from the balcony was peaceful. The owners created an atmosphere of relax and joy, so you can forget about routine. Breakfast was delicious, many options of tasty food.
We also enjoyed sauna and shower with eucalyptus fog - perfect after a long day of skiing.
Good ski service: free depot at Miara and shuttle car to the lifts every morning.

We have just spent 13 days at this hotel, and we couldn't speak highly enough on every aspect. They have thought of everything; their own shuttle to the slopes in the mornings, a bus pass for the surrounding 'super ski' areas, their own locker room at Miara to leave your skis and boots over night.
We had half board, the food was plentiful and delicious. This is a very special place to stay and we'll be back!

Great hospitality, the staff was very friendly and helpful, the food was delicious (refined and served with a superb presentation), prepared by an excellent chef with fresh products from the private garden of the hotel. What about the rooms? We saw 4 rooms, all nice and comfortable. From the balcony of our room "Aqua Luna" there was a wonderful view on the surrounding. Mr. Nicol, the hotel owner, speaks just a little bit French, but he always strove to provide us explanations in English. We especially enjoyed the very friendly atmosphere of the hotel where the majority of guests were Italian and a great complicity was established.
Again congratulations to all because we spent such a lovely holiday.
We hope to return to the Aqua Bad Cortina for a future stay.

We liked the welcome by the owner and his wife. It makes you feel at home. We like the decor of the hotel. We like the rooms. Also the view is amazing, especially to the mountains. We like the professional way the staff treats us. We like the food. It is a surprise every day, and a pleasant one. The performance of the live music group is very warm and nice.
So there is nothing negative to say. I love Helene. She is a very nice lady.
So, we definitely will be back. This summer already.

We had the impression that Aqua Bad cannot bring new surprises after last year's vacation. Well, this year a new team in the kitchen, a young chef with a wonderful cuisine! Absolutely delightful!

Best winter vacations ever

Nicol and his wonderful family and amazingly kind staff welcomed our 40 people (9 families with kids aged from 6 to 18 years) group from Porto in such a terrific 5 star service, warmth and sympathy that we just wish we stayed in Aqua Bad for 1 more month!
We really felt like we were at "home", being spoiled in all manners.
It’s been our best winter vacation ever, these 9 families from Porto have a consensus in this statement!
Every year for the past 8 years (some families for longer than that) we've been exploring the French Alps and this was the first time in Italy in the Dolomites. Kronplatz is very well equipped in terms of lifts (top quality, brand new equipment), slopes and services for a great ski vacation. The private ski depot is great and right at the Miara lift, so you calmly go on a jeep provided by the hotel that takes you directly to the depot doorsteps.
We regret we've missed the walk to the natural UNESCO park scheduled for the last day, but since we are already planning to return next year, it's already on the agenda.
We were afraid that being the carnival week, the slopes would be crowded like in the French Alps, but it was a big surprise: not too many people for such a week and the lifts very quick, so almost no queues at all!
Just a special word on the food : fantastic organic breakfast with the freshest ingredients and refined gourmet dinners, with simpler solutions for the kids when required by the parents.
One tip: don't miss the Messner Museum at the top of Kronplatz that opened in summer 2015! A masterpiece of the most famous architect Zaha Hadid and one of the best surprises!
The only negative thing is the high cost on the forfaits.

Wonderful vacation

Aqua Bad Cortina is definitely one of our favourite places in Italy for the family. We were able to take excursions, walk as a couple, ski, take lessons, relax... All in a very warm and welcoming surrounding. The hotel is family run and does meet the expectations of any 5 star lodging in staff professionalism and warmth. The meals were all gourmet standard prepared with local and organic fresh produce. The chef even catered to our small children taste without taking out any of the flavours offered to the adults. It is a place we will be coming back to very often.

The best energy spot of the Dolomites

This was the third time that we visit this great hotel from the other side of the world, Australia.
The warm welcome from the family feels like you are part of the family.
There is not a single thing that we not enjoy.
But the most special thing that we really feel at the hotel is the strong positive energy, this hotel is full of good energy spots, and that is what you need on a holiday, reload yourself with good energy and vibration.
This year I took my divining stick with me to 'measure' the energy spots and went for a walk around the hotel and in the forest, to the spring, unbelievable and amazing was the experience never felt and measured so many positive spots in one area.
The way that Nicol and his family and staff are running the hotel is with love, positive energy and they pay attention to detail and that's what you feel!
The bath is absolute a must thing to do, give your body and mind what it deserve.
Looking already forward to go to Aqua Bad Cortina again.

...so much better than expected!

It’s been our first visit to South Tyrol, and I must say, it was so much better than expected. My wife and I stayed at the hotel Aqua Bad Cortina, which proved to be the best choice we could have made for this holiday. The family-run hotel has the perfect size (around 25 rooms) and is surrounded by an absolutely stunning landscape: high mountains, seemingly endless forests and a charming little stream running directly in front of the hotel.
As we are both not the skiers, we decided to travel to South Tyrol in summer. Wellness, hiking and relaxation were on our schedule, and again I must say, we found the ideal location to do exactly what we have come for. The spa area in the hotel might not be the biggest one we have seen so far, but it does have everything you need to spend soothing moments for your body and soul.
After some breathtaking hikes along the little mountain stream, we took advantage of the guided tours through the surrounding woods and up the mountains. Exhausting? Yes, but it was definitely worth it!
One more thing has to be mentioned at this point. The Alberti family is a fantastic host! Here, the term “hospitality” is basically lived every single day. The pounds we lost during the hikes were gained again in no time, thanks to the delicious meals which left the kitchen doors.
To make a long story short, there is not one single thing, which we did not like during our stay. The hotel is absolutely recommendable. We are sure to come back to the Aqua Bad Cortina very soon and we are even considering giving it a try on the ski slopes during the winter season.
